In my fifty years of existence, I have experienced several transformations and understood that things’ true beauty and value lie in their history. Whether it be an exquisite work of art, a captivating performance, or a moving literary or musical composition, these art forms are nourished by the soul of their creator, by their story. That’s why we are drawn to their beauty that reflects our journey, and they have the power to elevate our lives.

Life has a way of bringing people together unexpectedly, in beautiful ways. This is the story of E.E.Art Dealer, a partnership between writer Ernesto Erre and painter Filippo Ioco. They bonded over their love of art and desire to share their knowledge, forging a deep friendship based on mutual respect. They believe that life’s seemingly random events are actually an illusion, and that true randomness does not exist.
We aim to gain a profound understanding of the people behind their works, including the emotions and inspirations that shape their unique perspectives. Through this process, we hope to inspire others to tap into their own creative potential and form authentic connections with the world.
It is through the examples of extraordinary individuals that I have learned to make the most out of life. Seeing how they overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams inspires me to do the same. It’s a constant reminder that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.

During my teenage years in late 1980s New York, I lacked parental role models and instead found inspiration in the unconventional individuals I met on the streets. From sex workers and drug dealers to fellow performers at gay nightclubs where I worked as a stripper, these people had complex stories but displayed remarkable resilience and wisdom. They taught me valuable lessons about navigating life, and I am thankful to a higher power for placing them in my path.
Growing up in a New York school while not speaking English and having a Sicilian home with different values was difficult. When I was fifteen, I had to make a tough decision, and I ultimately decided to leave home.
